Another Handmade Monday, and another lovely Bank Holiday weekend (although tomorrow doesn’t promise such beautiful weather). We have had a great time with a visit from my step-children, lawnmower driving and some mountain climbing thrown in for good measure.

There’s not much to report on the making front this week other than more bees and ladybirds and another set of Vegimals for one of Daisy’s classmates. My order book is still nicely full, including a set of Tour de France owls with different coloured tummies for the different categories of race leader!

It was, however, hubby’s birthday this week which meant I could give him the wonderful Digby mugs from Freespirit Designs. He was thrilled with them. The first thing he said on opening them was, “it’s Digby!”, so Natalie has got him spot on! Here is a photo of the Birthday Boy with his mug and also one of Digby with his likeness!

IMG_7040So, not much to show on the felting front this week, but I’d love it if you could take a look at this post about my Grandma Taylor and the wonderful peg dolls that she used to make. I have finally found a way of displaying them away from prying fingers, and it was so lovely to see them all again and to have them on permanent show.

Half-term this week and a couple of visits to the Hay Festival, so see you all next Sunday! Have a lovely week.
